Also make sure that your drive roll tension is not to much, enough to move the wire but not enough to push it when you have the wire held at the gun.Cleanliness in a wirefeed insures problem free usability. A 120V MIG welder turned all the way up will put out about 90A at 18V, around 1600W. A stick weld with a 3/32" 7018 or 1/8" 6010/6011 at 85A will be around 26V or 2200W, significantly more power.I had two mm130 one was a 130 xp. Lincoln 175 or Miller 175 would be my choice, they only cost about $200 more than a 135. It was stored in my dads basement on the floor and the city storm drain backed up and put 3in of water into the machine. I tried to use it the other day and this is what happened.If your machine is a SP-125T, check the voltage selector switch. A bad switch will kill both weld power and wire feed. A bad switch will also prevent power from getting to the rectifier. A bad rectifier will take out both weld and wire feed in either an SP-125T or an SP-125-PLUS. Good luck.LB.Mar 23, 2017 · Do this, you have to the wire back on to the reel. Once the gun is off, take a small piece of mig wire, bent into a u shape and poke it into the two gun switch cables. This will bridge the switch circuit and make the welder feed. If it works, the problem is the gun, (tip, liner) and if it doesnt, the issue is somewhere else in your machine.
